Effective May 26, 2017, we will be upgrading our systems to better serve your needs. There will be limited impact to our services over Memorial Day Weekend. The holiday weekend allows our branches to complete the system upgrade with minimal impact and customers will experience few interruptions. Here is a summary of what services are available and what you can expect.
If you receive a payroll direct deposit, you will be paid
Direct Deposits made on Friday, May 26 will be available as usual.
Available Balances for your Debit Card
Throughout the holiday weekend, your available balance on your debit card will include the items below until Tuesday, May 30, at 8 a.m.:
- Your available balance shown in Internet Banking as of 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25
- Plus any electronic transactions (such as payroll direct deposits and automatic payments) scheduled for Friday, May 26
- Plus Internet Banking transfers made between your Tompkins accounts before 8am. on Sunday, May 28
Please plan accordingly prior to the holiday weekend to ensure you have the funds needed on your debit card.
Internet & Mobile Banking will be Unavailable for a brief period.
Internet and Mobile Banking will be unavailable beginning on Sunday, May 28, at 8 a.m. and will resume service between 8 a.m. and noon on Monday, May 29.
Balances will be updated through Sunday. The next update will be Wednesday morning.
From noon on Monday, May 29, to 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, your balances and account information viewed in Internet and Mobile Banking will not be updated to reflect your weekend transactions. You can still schedule transfers, view account history, and perform other transactions within Internet and Mobile Banking during this time period, however, your balances and other account information will not be fully updated in the new system until 8 a.m. on May 31.
There will be a one-time delay for electronic transactions sent on May 26:
All electronic transactions, including external account transfers, with a send date of Friday, May 26, and an effective date of Tuesday, May 30 will be delayed by one business day to May 31.
View your eStatements prior to May 25
Our eStatement service will be unavailable from midnight on
Thursday, May 25, until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30. Please view any statements
needed prior to May 25.
You Will Receive an
Interim Paper Statement After May 26
As we transition to our new system, an interim statement
will be issued from the old system. This statement will be sent to all
customers in the mail. Your new statements will return to your selected
delivery method and normal delivery date in June.
