Assistant Branch Manager

Tompkins Bank of Castile is seeking a seasoned Assistant Branch Manager responsible for developing and managing banking relationships. This motivated banking professional will assist in the management of the Pittsford Branch operations, promote products and sales, and provide work direction to the branch team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of related branch management experience, comprehensive banking knowledge and the ability to meet/exceed branch goals.
  • Enthusiastic desire to generate new relationships and nurture long-term relationships.
  • Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and present banking solutions to meet and exceed customer's needs.
  • Mentor, coach and cross train branch personnel to understand our products & services and identify referral opportunities.
  • Strong outside business development experience and knowledge of the general area, participating and making a presence within the community
  • Excellent communication and PC skills.

We are currently seeking outgoing, personable and professional individuals for Teller opportunities.  Tellers perform a variety of tasks serving bank customers by processing transactions and answers questions regarding account information. Teller's also promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers and prospects and actively participate in department referral and sales programs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Cash handling experience required
  • Banking or related customer service experience preferred  
  • Strong computer skills - able to switch between screens/systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must

We are currently seeking outgoing, personable and professional individuals to be responsible for performing a variety of Customer Care Center operational duties in a multi-bank environment.  Perform a variety of tasks relating to customer telephone, chat and email inquiries. Provides support to customers and company personnel by resolving routine debit card inquiries and Internet Banking inquiries. Serves bank customers   by processing transactions over the telephone and answers questions regarding account information.  Promotes and cross-sells bank products and services to customers and prospects; actively participates in department referral and sales program.
