Commercial Loan Operations Specialist (Full Time) – Perry, NY

The Loan Specialist will provide operational administrative support in the Commercial Loan Servicing area.  Responsible for review and verification of data that is entered into the commercial loan system to ensure data integrity, processing of daily work and provide excellent customer service support to internal and external customers.  Other required duties include:

  • Review reports for accuracy
  • Perform system balancing
  • Verify accuracy of online maintenance
  • Prepare and enter data into the online system
  • Perform specialized operational duties associated with commercial loan products
  • Research and resolve inquiries from internal & external customers
  • Review and interpret mortgage and appraisal documents to be able to properly maintain real estate transactions on our Core system
  • Interact with Loan Officers and Loan Assistants with regard to loan documentation.
  • Perfection of loan collateral documentation using external systems
  • Maintain records for audit verification of loan processing
  • Maintain legal and correspondence files

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • naturally troubleshoot and analyze situations
  • proactively reach out or discover resources to determine solutions
  • identify and understand how actions may affect other teams or clients
  • proficiently and professionally communicate with internal and external clients
  • quickly move between tasks and understand when a change in priorities is needed

Customer Care Center Representative (Full Time) – Batavia, NY

Tompkins Shared Services has an excellent opportunity for professionals to join our dynamic Company.   We are currently seeking outgoing, personable and professional individuals to be responsible for performing a variety of Customer Care Center operational duties in a multi-bank environment.  Perform a variety of tasks relating to customer telephone and email inquiries. Provides support to customers and company personnel by resolving routine debit card inquiries and Internet Banking inquiries. Serves bank customers by processing transactions over the telephone and answers questions regarding account information.  Promotes and cross-sells bank products and services to customers and prospects; actively participates in department referral and sales program.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one (1) year banking or related customer service experience normally required.  
  • Strong computer skills - able to switch between screens/systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must
  • Pleasant phone voice and excellent communications skills
